Guide to AccuPOS New Generation for Restaurants and Bars

This page is designed to help our customers get familiar with both the point of sale interface and the back-end Management for the new generation (“New-Gen”) AccuPOS software.

Although both the front-end POS and back-end Management appear very different in both Old-Gen and New-Gen, a closer look reveals that we’ve refined the new software to be faster, more intuitive and rich in useful features.

The Old-Gen vs New-Gen comparison chart below should help you get started in how we’ve set up our new software, but first we need to introduce you to AccuSERVER:

Only on New-Gen: AccuSERVER

AccuSERVER is a program that acts as a live connection between your POS system components, i.e. your management computer and point of sale station(s).

Even if you have your point of sale and AccuPOS Management on the same PC, AccuSERVER must still be installed on that computer.

Please keep in mind, AccuSERVER must be open and running before starting the point of sale system!

Each of the icons show what programs and connectivity are needed on that device.

It is crucial that you keep in mind that AccuSERVER needs to be running on both your Management computer AND your PC point of sale station(s) before starting the point of sale program!
