Customer Loyalty

The AccuPOS Loyalty program allows you to keep track of itemized rewards for your returning customers.

Rewards can involve either a specific item or item type, and are determined by either quantity points or monetary amount.

You also set the the days and even the daily times in which the rewards are given, so you can encourage customers to shop at slower sales days or times.

To access Loyalty, open Management and select Manage > Items List, or select the Manage Items shortcut.

Access POS Loyalty Program

On the Items Management screen, scroll over to the Loyalty Cost and Loyalty Program columns.

If you do not see them, you may have to select the Edit Items button on the top right and select them for viewing, or update your management version.

In the below screen:

• Loyalty Cost determines how many points or monetary units are needed to reward that item to a customer.

This could be almost any number or amount; for instance 10 would be for either ten points or ten dollars.

• Loyalty Program shows whether or not a reward is set for that item.

To determine the specific loyalty for any of your items, double-click its corresponding “Yes” or “No” in the Loyalty Program column

Setting the loyalty for one of your items is done in 3 steps.

• Step 1 sets the loyalty name, whether it is a specific item or item type, and its date range.

• Step 2 sets the specific days of the week and start/end times of the sale (if any).

• Step 3 sets whether the loyalty is number-based or monetary-based.

The steps are explained in more detail below.
