A ‘key set’ is a group of keys used for a specific section of your business. Their use is optional.
For instance, you may have a restaurant that has a bar section. The restaurant point of sale will have the food and beverage keys, and the bar will only have cocktails, beer and liquor.
You’ll determine which point of sale station gets which key set when you set up each individual station.
To create a new key set, click the Key Set dropdown menu and select ‘Create New’.
The Key Set name window will appear, prompting you to input a new name. Press ‘Save Changes’ when done.
Your new key set is now created and will be available from the Key Set dropdown menu.
To delete a key set, select it in the Key Set dropdown and press the ‘Edit Key Set’ button to the right.
Then press the ‘Delete This Key Set’ button. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
To set a button to display a key set on the point of sale, create a new button, and select ‘Change Key Set’ as the button type.
Then, select the proper key set from the ‘Key Set Name’ drop down, which lists all ofthe available key sets you have made.
To rename a key set, select it in the Key Set dropdown and press the ‘Edit Key Set’ button to the right.
Type in the new name, and press ‘Save Changes’ when done.
