Payment with Cash

Taking cash as payment is fast and simple, but please note that the customer’s order must currently be loaded on the POS.

For instructions on loading an order, see the pages on loading orders if you keep track of tables, or do not keep track of tables.

OPTION 1: If the customer has exact change
Simply press the green Take Cash button. This will finalize the transaction.

OPTION 2: If the customer pays with a common bill

Press one of the six common bill buttons ($1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100). This will finalize the transaction and display the necessary change on the next screen (see below)

OPTION 3: If the customer pays and needs change

In the above example, if the customer pays with $4.50, simply type in 4.5 on the number pad and select the Take Cash button. This will finalize the transaction and display the necessary change on the next screen (see below)

• Please keep in mind that if the paid amount ends in zero, then the last 0 digit does not need to be entered as part of the number.

For example, 6.00 can be input as just 6, 10.20 can be input as 10.2, and so on.
