Let's get started!
Click the "Drinks" menu tab to select
a drink.
Add "Coke, 1 Liter" to the order.
You can see it appear on the invoice
above the menu buttons.
Now, let's scan in some products!
Start scanning
Here, we see our scanner set up next to the
point of sale. In front of us is a shirt that
needs to be scanned and added to the invoice.
Click the top of the scanner to scan the shirt.
Awesome! Let's scan another shirt.
You can see the second shirt appears as a new item on the invoice. Perfect.
Back to the screen
Now we've successfully used a scanner, let's add an item another way.
We're going to use the quantity button to add a different shirt. To begin, select "Shirts."
Using the number pad, choose how many items will be added. Let's say 3.
Now, select "Quantity" in the Quickbar.
And finally, we'll choose which item to add. Tap the "Red Polo Lrg" button.
Let's look at one more way to add items to the order.
Start with "Item Search" in the Quickbar.
We've just added 3 new shirts to the order without swiping or scanning!
The customer is buying snacks. We'll start by typing part of the name to search. Let's type "p-r-i" and tap "Search" to see the results.
We can see the keyboard appear. This allows us to search the inventory for what we need.

There are plenty of results, but we already see what we're looking for. Tap on "PRINGLES RANCH."

Now that it's highlighted, hit "Select" to add the item to the invoice.

That was easy! Let's start closing up the sale.
Tap on the "Take Cash" button in the top-right of the screen.
Enter "120" to tell the point of sale how much we've been given, then tap the green "Enter" key to close the sale.
The customer has given us $120 in bills. We'll need to take the what they've given and make change.

You can see the change to return to the customer just below the AccuPOS logo in the top right. This will disappear once the next sale is started.
